PLCN Fall Book Launch, November 12

It's time to launch our fall books! Join us for a fun-filled evening of readings from a handful of talented Canadian playwrights, and let us show off our list of recently released and upcoming titles!

Hosted by Jon Kaplan and Susan G. Cole of NOW Magazine, our launch will feature readings from:

And the 2012 GG Finalists Are In...

The Canada Council for the Arts has revealed the 2012 Governor General's Literary Award finalists this morning. And we're happy to announce that five PLCN books have been nominated in the Drama category, as well as the Translation category!

For Drama:
It Is Solved By Walking, Catherine Banks
The Romeo Initiative, Trina Davies
Brothel #9, Anusree Roy

For Translation:
Small Room at the Top of the Stairs, John Murrell (original text by Carole Frechette)
The List, Shelley Tepperman (original text by Jennifer Tremblay)
